Manufacturing and Logistics Execution Management SolutionDELMIA Apriso

Dassault Systèmes' DELMIA Apriso is a manufacturing and logistics execution management (MES) solution that supports global supply chains, including not only domestic but also overseas locations.
B-EN-G started its Apriso business in 2005 and was the first partner in Japan to successfully implement DELMIA Apriso as a prime contractor.
We have received awards from Dassault Systèmes, including the "2021 vs 2022 New Domain Growth Award" and the "Top Sales Representative & Technical Expert" award.

DELMIA Apriso Overview

MES that visualizes the situation on-site in real time

DELMIA Apriso is positioned between on-site systems such as manufacturing equipment control and logistics equipment and core systems such as ERP and planning systems, and visualizes real data from the worksite, linking it to core systems and integrating it as management information. This helps to continuously improve operations and promptly review management strategies.
In addition, as it is a flexible application, it is possible to quickly launch an execution management system that is optimal for a customer's specific business process, and also support maintenance and functional expansion to suit business conditions after operation.

Features

The basic functions required to systemize business processes related to manufacturing and logistics are provided as a group of parts (components).Since systems are constructed by combining these, systems can be introduced in a short period of time compared to developing from scratch or customizing packages.
Furthermore, it goes beyond the typical MES area of "manufacturing performance management" to cover all aspects of execution management in the manufacturing and logistics industries, such as "quality control," "maintenance management," "warehouse management," and "employee management," all on a single platform. It is also known as a Manufacturing Operation Management (MOM).

Benefits

  • Global business standardization can be achieved, including at overseas bases.
  • Real-time monitoring of on-site work progress, inventory status, equipment operation status, etc.
  • The business progress and inventory status of related companies, such as contract manufacturers and 3PLs, can also be monitored in real time.
  • Quickly respond to emergency events that occur on-site (order changes, machine breakdowns, etc.).
  • Data can be linked at the necessary timing and data granularity required by core systems (ERP, planning systems).

B-EN-G Implementation Support Services

Since its founding, B-EN-G has specialized in the manufacturing industry, providing solutions across a wide range of areas, from business planning to equipment operation management, encompassing everything from ERP to IoT. Furthermore, we develop "mcframe," a production management system that is becoming the de facto standard in Japan. With the deep knowledge of the manufacturing industry cultivated through these efforts, we can facilitate the implementation of MES (Manufacturing Execution System) solutions.

Introduction to a wide range of industries

DELMIA Apriso is implemented in a wide range of industries, regardless of whether they use discrete or process-based systems.

Performance graph

Examples of themes that B-EN-G has handled

Overall optimization
basis

#Business process standardization #Multiple factory deployment

We consolidated site requirements and formulated a company-wide MES (Manufacturing Execution System). We horizontally deployed the initial factory model to other sites and promoted company-wide standardization of individual operations.

#VerticalIntegration

Achieving vertical integration of ERP, MES, and manufacturing equipment. Building a collaborative platform that can flexibly adapt to changes in communication standards and parameters.

#DigitalInfrastructure #DataUtilization

We built an MES (Manufacturing Execution System) as a platform for digitally managing all manufacturing records. We utilize the accumulated data to improve business operations.

quality
trace

#traceability

By establishing a traceability infrastructure from raw materials to finished products, we can expedite the investigation of the cause of anomalies and the identification of the scope of their impact.

#Expiration date management

By managing the expiration dates and maintenance records of components, expired or unmaintained equipment can be automatically detected during manufacturing, preventing misuse.

#SPC analysis #Prevention of quality anomalies

The system analyzes the difference between recent manufacturing results and target values in real time, allowing for early detection of quality anomalies.

Design x site

#DesignChange #PLMIntegration

By linking PLM design change information to MES and reflecting it in work-in-progress orders, we can shorten the lead time for reflecting design changes and prevent manufacturing errors.

#DataUtilization #EquipmentDataCollection #PreventiveMaintenance

By collecting and analyzing equipment operation data, we enable preventive maintenance through the identification of equipment deterioration and improve operating efficiency by visualizing the factors causing operational losses.

#PLM Integration

We are building a system to import resource information such as documents and programs from PLM and accurately transmit it to the manufacturing floor.

Assets × Efficiency

#InventoryManagement #InformationMatchingMaterials

By managing inventory with MES (Manufacturer Energy Management System) and enabling linked material consumption and manufactured goods receipt, inventory accuracy can be improved.

#Mold management

Real-time management of mold status. Preventing misuse of molds by verifying status at the start of manufacturing.

#Visualization #EquipmentDataCollection

Visualizing equipment problems reduces downtime. Analyzing trouble data enhances equipment maintenance.

Specialized field

#CSV

With hands-on support from CSV consultants, we ensure the MES implementation process complies with CSV requirements.

#ElectronicApproval #Paperless

Implements ER/ES (Electronic Records/Electronic Signatures) and audit trail functions. Paperless operation is achieved through automatic recording of change history and electronic approval.

# Outsourcing Management

To facilitate the rapid establishment of outsourcing partners in response to increased production volume, we quickly built and provided a manufacturing execution management system for outsourcing partners.

Implementation methodology based on proven track record as a prime contractor

With our strong project management capabilities, we ensure the successful completion of MES implementation projects.
Based on extensive project experience, B-EN-G has established "TOPPLAN-Apriso," a guideline that standardizes system construction work, as its QMS document.
By following these guidelines, we can prevent variations in quality between projects and achieve high quality.
