Human Rights Policy

B-EN-G Group Human Rights Policy

The B-EN-G Group recognizes that respecting the human rights of all people is an important social responsibility in conducting its business and providing value to society, and will strive to fulfill this responsibility by promoting group-wide efforts to respect human rights.

  1. Fundamental concept
We support international norms on human rights, including the International Bill of Human Rights, the International Labor Organization Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, and the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact. This policy is based on these norms and the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights to promote respect for human rights by B-EN-G Group companies and their officers and employees.

  2. Scope of policy
This policy applies to all officers and employees of the B-EN-G Group. We also ask all business partners of the B-EN-G Group to support and comply with this policy, and work together to fulfill our responsibility to respect human rights.

  3. Respect for human rights
Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, national origin, social status, social origin (family origin), gender, marital status, age, language, disability, health status, religion, ideology or creed, property, sexual orientation or gender identity, and occupational or employment status is prohibited. We do not tolerate any form of forced or compulsory labor or child labor. We shall always be conscious of the dignity of the individual and shall not engage in any acts that are offensive to public order and morals, violence, intimidation, sexual harassment, or the like. The B-EN-G Group will also respect the basic labor rights of workers to organize, bargain collectively, and act collectively.

  4. Fulfilling our responsibility to respect human rights
We understand that our business activities may directly or indirectly affect human rights, and we will not only not infringe on the human rights of others, but will also take appropriate measures to correct any negative impact on human rights that may arise through our business activities. In cases where negative human rights impacts by business partners are suspected and directly linked to the B-EN-G Group's business, the B-EN-G Group will demand that its business partners respect human rights and refrain from infringing on them.

  5. Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
We comply with the laws and regulations applicable in each country and region where we conduct business activities. When there is a conflict between internationally recognized human rights and the laws and regulations of each country or region, the B-EN-G Group will strive to respect internationally recognized human rights.

  6. Education
We provide appropriate training to all executives and employees so that this policy is incorporated into all business activities and firmly established, and that this policy is understood and effectively implemented.

  7. Human rights due diligence
We establish and continuously implement a system of human rights due diligence, which identifies, prevents and mitigates negative human rights impacts. If it becomes clear that the B-EN-G Group has caused or participated in negative human rights impacts, or has been involved through its business partners, we will work to remedy the situation through appropriate means.

  8. Dialogue/consultation
We consult with relevant stakeholders regarding responses to potential and actual negative human rights impacts.

  9. Information disclosure
We disclose the progress status of our efforts to respect human rights based on this policy on our website and elsewhere.
