At B-EN-G, we are promoting the expansion of various systems and measures with the aim of creating a work environment where employees can choose flexible working styles according to life events, continue working with peace of mind, and make the most of their abilities.
These efforts have been recognized and we have received high praise from third-party organizations, including the "Eruboshi (certification level 3)," "Platinum Kurumin," "TOKYO Papa Childcare Promotion Company," and "Great Place to Work."
Additionally, we are proactively working to address the issue of balancing work and caregiving, an issue that has become of growing social interest in recent years, and we are flexibly responding to changes in the legal system.

Childcare support aimed at "valuing time with family and not giving up on careers"
The average age of B-EN-G employees is 40.3 years old (as of March 31, 2025), and many employees are raising children. Therefore, B-EN-G has established a work-life balance support system that goes beyond legal requirements, creating an environment in which employees can comfortably balance work and childcare.

Specifically, a total of 20 days of special maternity leave (paid leave) can be taken during pregnancy, and if a spouse gives birth, five days of maternity leave (paid leave) can also be taken. Regarding the period of childcare leave for men, we respect the wishes of each employee and allow them to take it for any period (※1) according to their schedule.
For example, if an employee is in charge of a project that is underway or in a busy period at work and it is difficult for the employee to take a long, continuous leave of absence immediately after giving birth, we aim to be flexible and suggest that the employee combine maternity leave, postpartum paternity leave and childcare leave, and take childcare leave in installments.
Thanks to these efforts, B-EN-G's childcare leave acquisition rate for fiscal year 2024 is 100% for women and 90.9% for men. (*2) In particular, the rate of men taking childcare leave is increasing year by year.

*1 The average period of childcare leave for male employees at B-EN-G is 83 days.
*2 The figures in the securities report are 300% for women and 90.9% for men. The calculation method is "number of people taking childcare leave / number of workers who have given birth." In cases where the year of childbirth and the year of taking childcare leave are different,
The success rate can exceed 100%.
"A sense of security that can be understood through real voices" - Experiences of those taking childcare leave
At B-EN-G, we actively share the experiences and voices of male employees who have taken childcare leave on our in-house social media to help alleviate any anxieties or concerns that male employees may have about taking childcare leave.
As can be seen from the testimonials of employees who have actually taken childcare leave, B-EN-G is not only working to increase the rate of leave taken, but also to create a company environment where employees feel glad that they took the leave. By regularly sharing the opinions of employees, we are also working to alleviate the concerns of employees who are considering taking childcare leave.
Establishment of a new birth support system that "envisions families"

Starting in April 2025, we will introduce a new "Birth Support System." This system supports employees in balancing fertility treatment with work, and is designed to prevent employees with established careers from having to leave the company due to the difficulty of balancing treatment with work.
The main changes include the introduction of a leave of absence system for up to one year and expanding the use of accumulated annual paid leave (up to 30 days can be used for fertility treatment). In addition, we have set up a consultation desk for those who want to balance fertility treatment with work, and have established a support system that respects privacy.
We take great care to protect employee privacy and prevent harassment, and we also provide training for all employees to promote the creation of a mutually supportive work environment.
B-EN-G's multifaceted support system "Respects diversity and allows everyone to thrive"
B-EN-G has established a comprehensive support system so that employees can continue working with peace of mind even when they face various life events such as nursing care and medical treatment. In addition, we are also focusing on creating an environment where employees can maximize their abilities, and in order to promote the active participation of women, we are taking various measures such as encouraging the use of female leave (a name change from "menstrual leave"), holding working mother lunch meetings, and female employee networking events.
In order to support balancing work and caregiving, we offer support that goes beyond what is legally required, allowing employees to take up to 30 days of accumulated annual paid leave before starting caregiving leave. In addition, caregiving leave can be taken for a long period of time, up to 365 days in total. Furthermore, if caregiving makes it difficult to work normally, employees can choose to work from home, allowing them to choose a flexible working style that suits their situation.
In addition, we have established a support system for balancing work and treatment so that employees who become ill and need treatment do not miss opportunities to receive treatment due to work, or have to give up work in order to prioritize treatment alone. We are promoting the creation of a work environment in which motivated employees can continue to work with peace of mind.
Furthermore, we have introduced the "B-Work-Life Balance System" as a system to support "continuing to work with peace of mind" and "flexible working styles." This system allows employees to choose a working style that suits them from among working styles other than the usual one when they need to change their working style due to illness or other temporary circumstances, not just for nursing care or childcare. Employees can choose the best working style for their individual circumstances from short-time working hours (six hours scheduled working hours), exemption from overtime (the employee sets the number of overtime hours they work themselves), telecommuting (working completely from home), and regular working.

"Towards a workplace where everyone can thrive" - the future B-EN-G aims for
Through the various support systems introduced above, B-EN-G strives to create a work environment where all employees can thrive in their own way.
We will continue to support our employees in the challenges they face in various aspects of life, such as child-rearing, nursing care, medical treatment, infertility treatment, etc. In addition to establishing systems, we will also foster a corporate culture of mutual respect and support in order to create a workplace where employees can thrive and play an active role in the long term, and to realize a "company with rewarding work experiences" where employee happiness and the company's sustainable growth are in harmony.
