About Robocon and FRC

Robocon (Robot Contest) is an educational event in which participants compete with robots they have built themselves. The focus is not only on acquiring engineering knowledge and skills, but also on developing problem-solving skills and teamwork, and various types of competitions are held around the world. Competitions aimed at younger generations in particular play an important role as a forum for nurturing the next generation of engineers.
Among these, the FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC) is the world's largest student robotics competition, organized by the US non-profit organization FIRST®. A different competition theme is announced every year, and participating teams work on designing and building a full-scale robot comparable to industrial robots within a limited period of two to three months. It is not just a technical competition, but also places emphasis on improving teamwork, leadership, and communication skills, and is highly regarded worldwide as a place to train the next generation of engineers.

Overview of B-EN-G's visit and opinion exchange meeting
In December 2024, members of SAKURA Tempesta visited the B-EN-G office to report on the results of their activities to date and their future prospects. The members gave an enthusiastic explanation of their experiences at international competitions and their social contribution activities through STEAM workshops and other activities.
During the interaction with B-EN-G members, there was a lively exchange of opinions about each other's project management methods and the use of tools. It appears that the dialogue with employees who are active as IT engineers provided new insights and discoveries. B-EN-G members who participated in the networking event commented, "They use the tools efficiently, putting working professionals to shame. We were also impressed by how polished their presentations were and how precise their Q&A sessions were."
B-EN-G will continue to support SAKURA Tempesta, contributing to the development of the next generation of engineers and science and engineering education, aiming to realize a creative society. In addition to financial support, we plan to provide multifaceted support, such as co-hosting events. Please look forward to SAKURA Tempesta 's future activities.
