Project Outline
In March 2020, GE Healthcare Pharma Limited, a business subsidiary of GE Healthcare, which provides medical devices and digital solutions that help solve medical issues and is involved in the contrast agent business, took over the manufacturing and sales of four contrast agent products. Domestic distribution operations for contrast media will begin in March 2022.
As a result, the company was forced to respond to the EDI system "JD-NET" unique to the Japanese pharmaceutical industry, and introduced B-EN-G's package "B-EN-Gp JD-NET Solution for SAP ERP". As a result, the project was completed on schedule.

After Implementation and Future Outlook
The SAP ERP system enhanced by B-EN-Gp JD-NET Solution has been in operation since March 2022 as scheduled, and transactions with wholesale distributors via JD-NET have started. Since then, no problems have occurred and transactions with wholesale distributors through JD-NET have been extremely smooth.
"To tell the truth, we were concerned that we might encounter unexpected problems during the first month or so of system operation, and that we would be forced to deal with them. In fact, however, the opposite was true. From the very first transaction, we have been able to place and receive orders via JD-NET without any problems and shipments have been made without delay. This was both a relief and a surprise. We were also surprised at how well the system started up, even from those around us who know about EDI transactions. We are grateful to B-EN-G for their careful preparation to avoid any problems that could have resulted in this achievement."
