Business Engineering Corporation (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masakazu Haneda; hereinafter referred to as "B-EN-G") has published a case study of the implementation of "SAP S/4HANA" Bushu Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Ltd. (Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture; President and CEO: Tadao Takano; hereinafter referred to as "Bushu Pharmaceuticals"), a company that specializes in the contract manufacturing of pharmaceuticals and investigational drugs and exports products to 56 countries around the world through outsourcing companies.
With the goal of "overall optimization of accounting, sales, logistics, and production resources, and developing IT as a pharmaceutical manufacturing company that delivers products to the global market," Bushu Pharmaceuticals updated all of its core systems at three factories to SAP S/4HANA when it merged with its Aizu factory. The company adopted B-EN-G's pharmaceutical manufacturing template "B-EN-Gp" and worked to unify business processes with a dedicated team of top experts from related departments. As a result, the company was able to integrate systems such as accounting, sales management, procurement, and production management, strengthen compliance with laws and regulations, and speed up the management PDCA cycle by refining management accounting.
B-EN-G's support for this project was highly evaluated, and it received the Project Award at the SAP AWARD OF EXCELLENCE 2025. *1
In addition, the B-EN-G project manager will be giving a talk on this project at the "SAP NOW AI Tour Tokyo & JSUG Conference" scheduled to be held on August 6th. *2

The purpose of this implementation of SAP S/4HANA is to centrally manage data from manufacturing to sales and finance, improve the speed and accuracy of operations, and gain further trust from customers.
