Business Engineering Corporation (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masakazu Haneda; hereinafter "B-EN-G") is pleased to announce that its "SAP S/4HANA Implementation Project" for Bushu Pharmaceuticals Ltd. won the "Project Award" at the "SAP AWARD OF EXCELLENCE 2025" sponsored by SAP Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroshi Suzuki; hereinafter "SAP"). B-EN-G has won the SAP AWARD OF EXCELLENCE more than 20 times in the past.

■Reason for Award
The company was highly praised for leading the implementation of a core system that standardized business processes by the deadline for the merger of the three plants using its in-house developed SAP S/4HANA implementation template (B-EN-Gp), based on the company's extensive implementation knowledge in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.

■About the "SAP S/4HANA Implementation Project"
Bushu Pharmaceuticals, a pharmaceutical contract development company, decided to implement SAP S/4HANA with the goal of "overall optimization of accounting, sales, logistics, and production resources, and establishing IT as a global company" in order to maximize the benefits of business expansion through the merger of three factories. For the implementation, they adopted the B-EN-G template for pharmaceutical manufacturing (B-EN-Gp) and worked on standardizing business rules and processes based on the standard processes contained in the template.
To carry out the project, a dedicated team consisting of the best from related departments was assembled, and they succeeded in unifying the business processes that were being used at each of the three factories. In addition, the company-wide SAP S/4HANA implementation project achieved business standardization and efficiency, while also achieving compliance with regulations and regulations, and realizing the PDCA cycle of management by refining management accounting.

Without the SAP system, this transformation would not have been possible. As an implementation partner, B-EN-G led many discussions by presenting multiple options for issues, rather than just one, based on their past implementation track record and business knowledge.
