YANMAR DIESEL INDONESIA (hereinafter "Yanmar Diesel Indonesia"), the Indonesian subsidiary of Yanmar Holdings Co., Ltd. (Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; President and CEO: Kento Yamaoka; hereinafter "Yanmar Holdings"), has adopted the manufacturing cloud ERP "mcframe X".

■ Company that has adopted the system and future developments
Yanmar Diesel Indonesia is one of Yanmar Holdings' main bases in Southeast Asia, employing 591 people. Established as a joint venture in 1972, it began mass production of horizontal water-cooled diesel engines in 1973. In 2022, it absorbed a group company that manufactures agricultural machinery, and has been a driving force in agricultural mechanization in the country.

With the support of B-EN-G's Indonesian subsidiary (B-EN-G Indonesia), the company aims to improve operational efficiency by using the same system at two factories that produce different products and have different production methods—engines and agricultural machinery—and to build a system that allows for timely acquisition of useful information that will support management decisions, such as factory-specific profit and loss and actual costs by product.

Yanmar Diesel Indonesia was using different core systems at its two locations in Jakarta and Surabaya, and faced challenges in data linkage between the locations and acquiring data useful for management decisions. The reasons for deciding to adopt mcframe X are as follows:

Due to the merger of two companies with different business segments, our company currently uses different core systems at our two locations (factories). This presented challenges in data linkage between locations and in acquiring valuable data for business management.
