Business Engineering Corporation (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Masakazu Haneda, hereinafter referred to as "B-EN-G") announced today that it has made an additional investment in Tokai Soft Co., Ltd. (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, President and CEO: Masanori Onoue, hereinafter referred to as "Tokai Soft"), bringing B-EN-G's investment ratio in Tokai Soft to 4.99%.

B-EN-G has strengths in the areas of production, sales, and cost management, including the in-house development of the "mcframe Series" production, sales, and cost management package software. Meanwhile, Tokai Soft has a strong track record in FA (factory automation) and embedded software development, and has strengths in the equipment control area. Following the signing of a sales and implementation partner agreement with Tokai Soft in 2013, B-EN-G took a stake in Tokai Soft in 2020, and has been promoting business development by combining the strengths of both companies.

Through this additional investment, the two companies aim to further strengthen Tokai Soft's sales and implementation of mcframe, and to leverage the strengths of both companies to improve their ability to provide MES (Manufacturing Execution Control System) solutions.
In recent years, the MES market has continued to expand both domestically and internationally in line with the acceleration of digital transformation and smart factory trends in the manufacturing industry, and there has also been a rapid increase in the need for real-time production management and utilization of equipment data.
By providing solutions in collaboration with Tokai Soft, B-EN-G will contribute to improving customer productivity and promoting digital transformation, while also aiming to expand the business of both companies.
