Amid major changes in the international situation, the global expansion of Japanese companies is entering a new phase. Not only is the future uncertain due to rising geopolitical risks around the world and intensifying international competition, but they must also simultaneously move forward with global standards such as the application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), overseas expansion, and ESG management. To overcome these challenges and continue to grow in the global market, Japanese companies must transform beyond their traditional management methods.
The key to this is the strategic use of AI. By incorporating AI into management, we can simultaneously strengthen our international competitiveness and improve operational efficiency, building a foundation for sustainable growth.

This event will consider this next-generation management transformation from both a strategic and practical perspective. First, in a keynote speech by Professor Noriyuki Yanagawa of the University of Tokyo, he will explain corporate strategies in light of geopolitical risks and the development of generative AI.
On the strategic side, we will explore innovation through external collaboration and differentiation through cross-border business. On the practical side, we will introduce specific methods that can be started immediately, such as automating and enhancing financial accounting operations, responding to new standards, and strengthening risk management systems.
