Business Engineering Corporation (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masakazu Haneda; hereinafter referred to as "B-EN-G") is pleased to announce that it has added new functions to "mcframe X (hereinafter referred to as "mcX") on October 1, 2024.

Since its launch as a customizable "cloud ERP for manufacturing," mcX has been regularly updated with the aim of improving productivity by enhancing its ability to respond to individual needs. In Ver. 24.2, the second update this year, we have implemented "ACE," a generative AI chatbot that improves data accessibility and contributes to smooth business execution. In addition, in response to the growing need for customization, we have aimed to improve the user experience by adding functions that support our customers' business, such as expanding the range of support for user-specific requirements and a function to design UI for each person in charge.

■About the Business Execution Support AI Chatbot "ACE"
"ACE" is a business support tool that combines mcX data with generated AI chat. Based on the content entered by the person in charge, it extracts data and suggests the next operation and action. As a result, ACE replaces data investigation and inquiry response, shortening the person in charge's work time and reducing the amount of work, contributing to business efficiency.
In addition, ACE will learn from the inquiries registered by users and their feedback, and grow into a tool suited to the company's operations and the work procedures of its personnel. In the future, ACE will be equipped with functions that strongly support operations, such as an error identification function and an abnormal data indication function, further improving the convenience of mcX and contributing to improving customer productivity.

■Other major release contents of Ver.24.2

1. Meeting unique requirements

We have implemented an add-on table function in the no-code development platform "Developer Platform," expanding the range of support for customer-specific specifications and customization requirements.

2. Usability-related feature enhancements

The add-on and operation screen are now available in English, and by retaining screen settings for each user, you can set the UI to suit the location and work of each person in charge.

3. Monitoring functions for IT departments and managers

We have added a new screen for administrators that allows real-time monitoring of operation status and resource usage, as well as the ability to check logs.

4. Cost management function

We have added four cost calculations (standard cost, actual cost, budgeted cost, actual (preliminary) cost) and analysis functions.
