■ Background to the location agreement with Akita Prefecture and Akita City
• High popularity of IT companies and abundant human resources
Akita City, within Akita Prefecture, is home to higher education institutions such as Akita University, Akita Prefectural University, Akita International University, and National Institute of Technology, Akita College. The number of people from these educational institutions finding employment in IT-related companies is on the rise, so we expect to be able to recruit young talent with a strong interest in systems and IT-related technologies.
In addition, Akita Prefecture is promoting permanent settlement within the prefecture and "A-turn(*)" and provides employment support to those wishing to relocate, so we hope to recruit people with a variety of career experiences from all over the country.

*A-turn: A coined term combining the "A" from "All turn" and the "A" from Akita, with the hope that people from Akita and other areas alike will live in Akita, regardless of whether they are from Akita or not, regardless of whether they are U-turn, I-turn, or J-turn.

• Local government support
Akita Prefecture is actively promoting the location of companies in the information-related industry, and various support measures are in place. We chose Akita City, Akita Prefecture as the group's first base in Tohoku, as we believe we can expand our business with the support of Akita Prefecture and Akita City, which have experience in supporting many IT companies.

■ Future outlook
B-SERV Akita Branch plans to develop its core business as remote maintenance and development support for core systems (ERP) such as mcframe and SAP, products of its parent company, B-EN-G.
We will start with remote support for head office-led projects, and from the fourth year onwards, we plan to start maintenance services managed by the Akita branch.
