Business Engineering Corporation (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Masakazu Haneda; hereinafter "B-EN-G") announces the phased launch of mcframe X (mcX), a manufacturing cloud that can be flexibly customized to meet the needs of each manufacturing company, starting in April 2023.
The production, sales and cost management of "mcframe", which is currently provided by on-premises*, is evaluated for its abundant functions and flexibility to meet business needs, and is operating at more than 700 companies and its group companies. "mcframe X" is provided by cloud services (SaaS **) while utilizing the functions and flexibility of "mcframe". In order to deepen the effectiveness, we plan to provide a proof project with the preceding customers, and to provide it in step based on the results.

■ Problem of SaaS of production management system
Corporate systems, such as accounting and customer management, have many common business requirements and are mostly applied using software packages, and the use of SaaS is also increasing.
On the other hand, in production management systems, it is difficult to implement them on a package standard basis, and it is even more difficult to use them as SaaS, as they need to deal with the specific requirements of each company as well as the specific requirements of the industry, business type, and product.
