[Background to this event]
In recent years, drug discovery modalities have diversified, as exemplified by cell therapy, and manufacturing, quality control, logistics, and supply chain networks are also changing. In addition, there is a shortage of pharmaceutical raw materials (active pharmaceutical ingredients) for generic drugs, and the drug supply shortage is becoming more serious, making productivity and quality assurance for high-mix low-volume production an issue. In order to solve such issues in the life science industry, we felt that an opportunity was needed to think about the future of life science together with our customers and among each other, and therefore planned this event.
