neo CritiCare Pharma Co., Ltd. is a pharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures, and sells soft bag formulations that are ready-to-use in medical settings and have little risk of bacterial or air contamination. In addition to supplying pharmaceuticals through its own sales network, the company also undertakes contract manufacturing (new drugs, long-listed products, and generics) for numerous pharmaceutical companies.
In 2019, due to group reorganization, the company was forced to leave the core system SAP ECC6.0 that it had been using. In addition to the limited use of existing systems, the scope of use also includes financial accounting (FI), management accounting (CO), sales management (SD), purchasing and inventory management (MM), production management (PP), The breakaway project was expected to be very challenging, as it covered a wide range of areas, from quality management (QM) to order data exchange systems.
When selecting a new system, we considered options other than SAP, but we were proud of the fact that we had been using SAP ERP, had a sense of security in our business operations, and felt that ERP was a system that would contribute to our business plans. Therefore, we decided on SAP products. We considered replacing with SAP ECC6.0, but due to the issue of support deadline approaching 2025 at the time (the support deadline was later extended to 2027), we chose SAP S/4HANA.
